How to update your payment method and FAQs about payments in Resound

Learn how to add a new payment method, remove old methods, and change the default payment method in a few simple clicks.

Note: This video contains outdated UI. We will update the video soon.

➕ How to add a new payment method:

  1. Go to Settings by clicking on your profile picture in the top right

  2. Click on Subscription

  3. Click “Add New Card”

  4. Input new card information and click “Save Payment Method”

  5. 🎉 Success! Your new card has been added

Note: Adding a new card does not automatically make it the default payment method. Follow the steps below to change your default payment method.

ⓧ How to remove a payment method

  1. Go to Settings by clicking on your profile picture in the top right

  2. Click on Subscription

  3. Click on the 3 dots next to the card you wish to delete

  4. Click “Delete Card” (NOTE: If you have a paid subscription Resound requires one card on file at all times. Simply add a second card and then you will be able to delete your older card.)

  5. 🎉 Success! Your card has been deleted

🔁 How to change your default payment method

  1. Go to Settings by clicking on your profile picture in the top right

  2. Click on Subscription

  3. Click on the 3 dots next to the card you wish to make default

  4. Click “Make Default”

  5. 🎉 Success! All future payments will be made on this new card

Payment method FAQs

Why can’t I delete my payment method?

If you are not able to delete your payment method, it's likely because you are on a paid plan. If you are on a paid plan, Resound requires you to always have at least one card on file. If you wish to delete a payment method simply add a second card, then delete the old one. All future payments will be charged to your new card and your old card will be deleted from your account.

I have multiple cards on file. Which one will be charged?

If you have more than one card on file in Resound then the card marked “Default” will be charged for your subscription.

Where can I find my last invoice?

After you upgrade to a paid subscription you will get an automated email with a copy of your invoice. If you can’t find the invoice in your email you can contact us by logging in and sending a message in the chat or by contacting help@resound.fm to request an invoice.

Why can't I see Payment Methods on the Subscription page?

You must make a purchase within Resound (ex: upgrade to a paid plan) before the Payment Method section will appear. When you first upgrade your plan in Resound you will be given the option to add a card to pay. This card will become the default method on your account, but you can always come back and change it later.
