Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you making these changes?

We’re making these changes to make Resound more sustainable for the long-term, to open up new ways for podcasters to try Resound for free, and to add a way for you to pay for AI time (without paying month-to-month).

When are changes happening?

  1. The free plan changes will roll out in two phases:
    - Feb 1: Processing time and project storage will be reduced
    - Late Q1: Enhance and export format options will be reduced

  2. The 14-day free trial will roll out between now and Feb 15th

  3. The new way to buy processing time will roll out later this quarter
(we will email you in advance)

What do I need to do?

  • If you’re on a paid plan, no action is required.

  • If you’re on a free plan, upgrade for more time, tracks, and storage. When your free plan renews you’ll be limited to 20 mins of processing.

I already have a free account. Can I try the new 14-day free trial?

Unfortunately, no. Only new users can access the 14-day free trial right now. We may explore offering this to you as an existing free user later, but not at this time.
