How to Redeem AppSumo Codes

AppSumo is a marketplace that offers lifetime deals for popular software products. AppSumo users (aka "Sumo-lings") who buy Resound on AppSumo will receive a product code (or codes) that can be used to unlock a special Lifetime plan in Resound.

If you've already bought a Lifetime deal on AppSumo, thank you for your support! Please follow the instructions below to redeem your codes.

If you're thinking about buying a Lifetime Deal, go to appsumo.com/products/resound to see if Resound's deal is currently live, and learn about the offer and deal terms.

Note: Lifetime deals are only valid for new users.

How to redeem an AppSumo code

After you purchase a Lifetime plan on AppSumo, you must redeem your code within Resound to get upgraded and unlock all features.

  1. Log into your AppSumo account

  2. Click the profile in the top right and click on "Products"

  3. Click on Resound

  4. Click the copy icon in the field above to grab your code.

  5. Click on the yellow "Redeem Now" button. This opens the Resound app Signup Page or go to app.resound.fm.

  6. Click “Create Your Account.”

  7. After creating an account, click the user icon in top right corner to open Settings.

  8. Click "Promos."

  9. Click "Redeem Promo Code."

  10. Paste your code into the box then click "Redeem."

  11. (Optional) Repeat these steps for up to 3 codes (to upgrade to Lifetime Level 2 or 3)

  12. You're all set! Click on the "Subscription" tab to see your plan and all it's benefits.

  13. Enjoy! 🎉

How to stack up to 3 codes

You can stack up to 3 promo codes in one Resound account. Redeeming one code will unlock Lifetime Level 1. Redeeming two codes will unlock Lifetime Level 2. Redeeming three codes will unlock Lifetime Level 3.

  1. After you have signed up and redeemed your first code, copy the redemption code above to grab your next code.

  2. Log into your account on the partner's website

  3. Click the user icon in top right corner to open Settings.

  4. Click “Promos.”

  5. Click “Redeem Promo Code.”

  6. Paste your code into the box then click "Redeem".

  7. Enjoy! 🎉

AppSumo FAQs

I purchased codes on AppSumo, so why is my account still on the free trial/free plan?

Thanks for supporting Resound by purchasing a Lifetime Deal on AppSumo!

If your account is still on a Free Trial or Free plan, that's most likely because you still need to redeem your codes.

After you purchase codes from AppSumo, you have to manually redeem your codes from AppSumo in Resound to upgrade to a Lifetime Level 1, 2, or 3 plan. Follow the steps below to redeem your AppSumo codes.

How to redeem AppSumo codes:

  1. Go to app.resound.fm and click “Create Your Account.”

  2. After creating an account, click the user icon in top right corner to open Settings.

  3. Click "Promos."

  4. Click "Redeem Promo Code."

  5. Paste your code into the box then click "Redeem."

  6. (Optional) Repeat these steps for up to 3 codes (to upgrade to Lifetime Level 2 or 3)

  7. You're all set! Click on the "Subscription" tab to see your plan and all it's benefits.

Why is my account still on the Lifetime Level 1 plan when I bought the Lifetime Level 2 or Lifetime Level 3 plan on AppSumo?

Whenever you buy multiple codes in AppSumo you have to redeem them each individually in Resound.

Please repeat the steps listed in the instructions below for all 3 of your individual codes. This will unlock your Lifetime Level 3 plan.

  1. Go to app.resound.fm and click “Create Your Account.”

  2. After creating an account, click the user icon in top right corner to open Settings.

  3. Click "Promos."

  4. Click "Redeem Promo Code."

  5. Paste your code into the box then click "Redeem."
